Who Is That In Rev. 7:1-9?

Q. In Revelation 7:9-17… I had always been taught that this was the scene of the Rapture.  I have read your articles regarding these being Tribulation saints, but I am confused about them serving before the throne of God day and night.  Won’t that throne be in the New Jerusalem?  If it is here on earth and Revelation 22 gives a picture of this throne, then it seems that we won’t get to be in the presence of the Lord in the New Jerusalem, only the Trib saints will.

The Wrath Of The Lamb And The Wrath Of God

Q. Every morning is a pleasure to open your website for an open literal interpretation of God’s word.  As we strive to be prepared for Christ’s return I often read Revelation.  I have a desire to understand prophecy since it was given to us by God.  My question concerns the Wrath of the Lamb that is introduced after the opening of the sixth seal.  It appears to me that the trumpet judgements occur prior to Satan setting himself up in the temple.  Is the Wrath of the Lamb and the Wrath of God the same timing?

Harvesting The Earth

Q. I am a bit confused by Rev 14:14-17. Where do I place this chronologically? Here it is talking about two separate Reaping’s (believers and unbelievers). Later in chapters 16 and 19 it talks of the wrath of God via the seven bowls and culminating in the “wine press” of the wrath of God at Armageddon. There will need to be a physical remnant that enters the Kingdom of God. I read somewhere that only believers will enter the millennium.  It would seem to me (based on Rev 14) that there will be a physical gathering of believers at the end of the tribulation period. And that these will be a physical remnant of mankind that will enter and populate the Kingdom.  My thinking is that any unbelievers not destroyed in the seven bowls of wrath will be gathered in that reaping and thrown into the mix at Armageddon. Is this correct? And given the location of the reaping chapter, could it be safe to assume that believing remnant of mankind will be spared from the bowls of wrath?

The Mark Of The Beast

Q. I enjoy your web site Immensely. I am a prodigal who has returned to the Lord and have strengthened my walk by listening to my pod cast daily and reading your site.

My question is this. (A popular Middle Eastern commentator)  advocates that the letters representing 666 are not Greek but are Arabic and mean Allah is Lord which are seen on head gear, especially by Jihadist. I know that this man has some questionable theology, but could there be some validity to this and that this head gear could actually be the mark of the beast? Read Post »

Two Resurrections Or Three?

Q. Thank you for your wonderful web site. I am encouraged daily by it.

I firmly believe in the pre-trib rapture and have studied much of your teaching on the subject. I have one area that I am still uncertain about. It is about the resurrection of tribulation saints. In your article “Defending the Pre-Trib Rapture (Again)” and in your answer “Resurrection of Old Testament Saints” you explain that Rev. 20:4-9 shows that tribulation saints are resurrected at the same time as Old-Testament saints, at the end of the tribulation and before the millennium.

I can see you are correct from passage, but what proof do we have that these saints are not simply the church age saints who died in the tribulation? Read Post »

Do Jews Know Their Tribal Origins?

Q. Thank you for your ministry.  I suppose the 144,000 will somehow know their tribal ancestry.  Perhaps, you’ve already dealt with this subject and I haven’t located it yet.  Thank you. Read Post »

Who Is The Group In Rev. 7?

Q. First I love your website!!! Very informative and has helped me so much in my study in end times prophecy!  I used to be very uneasy about end times prophecy but now that I have accepted Christ into my heart, I don’t fear anymore!!! I know I have a one way ticket! Amen!

I have a question regarding Rev. 7:9. I am in a current debate with a non-believer of the pre-trib rapture. He insists that those mentioned in verse 9 are the church, still here on earth, therefore no rapture. Read Post »

Will The Days Be Shorter Or Darker?

Q. I read an article the other day that presented a different idea about the darkening of the sun, moon, and stars.

He said the earth may tilt on its axis and it’s rotation may speed up, causing the earth to go into a 16 hour day…a loss of 8 hours or 1/3 of a day.

With the polar shift that is predicted for 2012, would you agree this is a possibility for the scripture in revelation concerning the loss of 1/3 of the night sky? Read Post »

Understanding Revelation 17:11

Q. I was hoping you could give me your understanding of Rev. 17:11.

“And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.”

Thank you and God bless. Read Post »

A Question About The Two Witnesses

Q. Having read through your website regarding the two witnesses I understand that you believe that they will be Moses and Elijah. Elijah because God tells us he will be one of them and Moses because of the character traits and probably the Mt of Transfiguration appearance.

My question is have you read a recent article regarding John being the possible second witness? If so would you care to comment on it? Read Post »
