Q. In several of your articles about eternal security you have said that even the faith to ask for salvation was a gift from Him. However, salvation through Jesus is also our choice and we are responsible for making that choice. We must ask for and accept it. But we can’t accept it until we first believe it and we can’t believe it until God gives us the faith to do so. Do you see where I’m coming from?

Q. I seem to have made an observation this evening and just wondered if you believe there is any relationship or credence at all to what I’ve noticed. I was looking up Scripture that contained the words, “Abba Father” and the first search result led me to the time Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane praying so very earnestly that if possible he not go to the cross but that His Father’s will be done. Than it occurred to me that the Fall was in the Garden of Eden which is of course why Jesus had to go to the cross.

Q. For the most part I enjoy your site and agree with most of what you write, but I do have some questions. You write that during the tribulation, those who come out of it are from Israel and not Gentiles, unless I misunderstood you. Also, you write that tribulation saints have to hold onto their salvation by works, again, if I understood you correctly. Do you not believe that those Tribulation saints spoken of in Rev. 7-14 include Gentiles?

Q. When did the disciples get baptised and invested with the Holy Spirit. And if I am right I believe that the robber who confessed on the cross to the Lord was neither baptized nor invested with the Holy Spirit and yet he was saved. Is that correct?

Q. I have been attending a great bible teaching church and in the last few month have come to realize that the pastor believes that we don’t receive the Holy Spirit until we are baptized. We have spoken at length and agree that when you believe on Jesus as your Savior you are saved and will spend eternity with him and the father. He says that Ephesians 1:13-14 is saying we are sealed (as in marked) for our future inheritance, but the spirit doesn’t dwell and live within us until we get baptized and that is when we receive the promise of the Father. He says the Lord’s own baptism is our example of this and in Acts 2:38 Peter placed baptism before receiving the Holy Spirit.

Q. I read your good article in answer to a question regarding pre-born babies in the Rapture. You said that children below the age of accountability belong to God, and quoted Romans 7:9. Was there a misprint in this reference? The verse does not appear to address the issue. Please elaborate. Thank you.

Q. Because my sister is a non-believer, and accordingly will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven, my question is will she know WHY she’s in Hell and understand that had she just accepted Christ as her personal savior she would be in Heaven? And because she’s a good, kind, generous, and giving person, will her punishment be less than say someone who murders or molests children? I continue to pray daily for her salvation because I know what’s coming.

Q. In your answer you said, “According to the Bible both these fears are irrational. The only qualification we have to meet for the rapture is to be born again.” What Scripture references are you basing this upon? The only verse I can think of that perhaps clearly alludes to this question is Luke 21:36 “Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass…” – and this seems to be definitely at variance with your view.
