Q. On numerous occasions you have written that it is more correct to refer to the last 7 years as the 70th week of Daniel rather than the tribulation. I’m not sure I see the point you are trying to make here. Would you please explain this further?
A. There’s no reference in the Bible to a 7 year tribulation period. Because scholars have traditionally spoken of one, lots of people are confused about the end times. I answer numerous questions from folks who don’t differentiate between the so-called 7 year tribulation they’ve been told about and the actual 3 1/2 year great tribulation of the Bible.
In addition to being Biblically correct, when we call the last 7 years by its proper name, Daniel’s 70th Week, we give it the Jewish emphasis that’s intended for it, making it easier to understand why the Church will have to leave before it begins.
