Q. I have a co-worker who is openly gay. He is my friend and I really don’t know how to handle this.
I know what I believe about Homosexuality. I believe God. But, does it really make me a liar if I do not come out and tell my friend that he is a sinner before God? He believes in God but I do not know if he’s saved. We haven’t got around to discussing that. I don’t want my friend to go to hell. I pray for him.
Since I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God; I do not believe I will have any part in the lake of fire. What’s your opinion?
A. The Bible is clear that God regards homosexuality as a sin. Praying for your friend is the best thing to do. You should also ask God to reveal His plan for your involvement in your friend’s life. If God wants you to talk with your friend about this, He’ll prompt you to do so and will give you the strength to do it. Either way your salvation is not at risk
