Should We Seek Fellowship Elsewhere?

What should a Bible-believing, born-again Christian do if their long-standing church is now openly admitting practicing homosexuals to the membership, allowing them to be deacons, elders, Sunday School teachers, worship leaders, etc? Are we to remain a member of this church or seek fellowship elsewhere? Thank you.

This is a question you ultimately have to answer for yourself, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance. But if your church’s leadership is allowing the things you indicate, it would appear they’ve decided that homosexuality is not a sin. If this is true, it contradicts the Bible’s position. If, after discussing it with them, you find they are firm in their decision I think you should consider finding another place to worship.
