Can you please tell me what is meant by the phrase living water as referenced in John 4:10? I am confused as to whether it refers to Jesus or The Holy Spirit. Thank you and be blessed.

The answer to your question is found 3 chapters later in John 7:38-39:
“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.
