Jehov\u00e1 es mi pastor; nada me faltar\u00e1. En lugares de delicados pastos me har\u00e1 descansar; junto a aguas de reposo me pastorear\u00e1. Confortar\u00e1 mi alma; me guiar\u00e1 por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre. Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte, no temer\u00e9 mal alguno, porque t\u00fa estar\u00e1s conmigo; tu vara y tu cayado me infundir\u00e1n aliento.<\/em><\/p>\n

Aderezas mesa delante de m\u00ed en presencia de mis angustiadores; Unges mi cabeza con aceite; mi copa est\u00e1 rebosando. Ciertamente el bien y la misericordia me seguir\u00e1n todos los d\u00edas de mi vida, y en la casa de Jehov\u00e1 morar\u00e9 por largos d\u00edas.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nuestro Se\u00f1or es como el buen pastor que defiende Su reba\u00f1o de los lobos rapaces que acechan en la oscuridad. Al darles cualquier oportunidad, atacan, pero \u00c9l los mantiene alejados con honda y flecha. \u00bfHa visto usted alguna vez una oveja que al ser atacada se defienda por s\u00ed misma? Yo tampoco. No pueden hacerlo. Sus enemigos son demasiado fuertes para ellas. \u00bfY sab\u00eda usted que las ovejas se extrav\u00edan f\u00e1cilmente? Es por eso que necesitan de un pastor, y ese es un trabajo de tiempo completo. Pero a pesar de los mejores esfuerzos del pastor, las ovejas de extrav\u00edan de vez en cuando y se meten en problemas y tienen que ser rescatadas.<\/p>\n

Ser\u00eda totalmente rid\u00edculo para una oveja culpar al pastor, pero a veces, esa es la manera como nosotros, que somos ovejas, tratamos al Se\u00f1or, nuestro Pastor. Nos extraviamos, nos metemos en problemas y debemos ser rescatados. Nos quejamos diciendo, \u201c\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 me dejaste hacer eso, Se\u00f1or?\u201d y culpamos al Se\u00f1or por nuestras acciones. A diferencia de las ovejas que no tienen libre albedr\u00edo y ninguna habilidad para aprender de sus errores, nosotros estamos supuestos a volvernos m\u00e1s inteligentes a trav\u00e9s de nuestra experiencia. Estamos supuestos a conocer lo poderoso que nuestro enemigo es y lo indefensos que nosotros somos, y as\u00ed dependemos de nuestro Se\u00f1or para nuestra protecci\u00f3n. Eso incluye el escuchar lo que \u00c9l nos dice cuando nos avisa de un peligro venidero, o nos advierte de no extraviarnos.<\/p>\n

Pero con la paciencia de un pastor, \u00c9l nos rescata, nos limpia, cura nuestras heridas, y con todo cari\u00f1o nos vuelve a colocar en el reba\u00f1o, a sabiendas de que pronto olvidaremos el desatino de extraviarnos y \u00c9l tendr\u00e1 que hacerlo todo de nuevo otra vez.
