Se enardeci\u00f3 mi coraz\u00f3n dentro de m\u00ed; en mi meditaci\u00f3n se encendi\u00f3 fuego, y as\u00ed profer\u00ed con mi lengua:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>Hazme saber, Jehov\u00e1, mi fin, y cu\u00e1nta sea la medida de mis d\u00edas; sepa yo cu\u00e1n fr\u00e1gil soy. He aqu\u00ed, diste a mis d\u00edas t\u00e9rmino corto, y mi edad es como nada delante de ti; ciertamente es completa vanidad todo hombre que vive. Selah<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ciertamente como una sombra es el hombre; ciertamente en vano se afana; amontona riquezas, y no sabe qui\u00e9n las recoger\u00e1. Con castigos por el pecado corriges al hombre, y deshaces como polilla lo m\u00e1s estimado de \u00e9l; ciertamente vanidad es todo hombre. Selah.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Oye mi oraci\u00f3n, oh Jehov\u00e1, y escucha mi clamor. No calles ante mis l\u00e1grimas; porque forastero soy para ti, y advenedizo, como todos mis padres. D\u00e9jame, y tomar\u00e9 fuerzas, antes que vaya y perezca.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Completamente abrumado por su penetrante naturaleza pecaminosa, David le ruega al Se\u00f1or que retire Su mirada de \u00e9l para poder disfrutar, por lo menos una sola vez, de un momento de paz en la tierra sin tener al Esp\u00edritu Santo se\u00f1alando su comportamiento pecaminoso. David quer\u00eda saber cu\u00e1nto durar\u00eda su vida para poder saber hasta cuando podr\u00eda seguir enga\u00f1\u00e1ndose a s\u00ed mismo y al Se\u00f1or. Aun cuando manten\u00eda su boca cerrada sus pensamientos traicionaban su pecaminosidad. Ese era el estado del hombre antes de la Cruz.<\/p>\n<p>Pero entonces Dios envi\u00f3 a Su Hijo y todo cambi\u00f3. <em>\u201cY a vosotros tambi\u00e9n, que erais en otro tiempo extra\u00f1os y enemigos en vuestra mente, haciendo malas obras, ahora os ha reconciliado en su cuerpo de carne, por medio de la muerte, para presentaros santos y sin mancha e irreprensibles delante de \u00e9l\u201d <\/em>(<strong>Colosenses 1:21-22<\/strong>). Ahora ya no importa lo desordenado y sucio que usted fue en el pasado, su futuro est\u00e1 seguro con Cristo. Todo lo que usted tiene que hacer es confesar sus pecados y usted es perdonado, de manera inmediata e incondicional, y purificado de toda maldad (<strong>1 Juan 1:9<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Como lo demuestra tan claramente David, la culpa es una de las emociones que m\u00e1s debilitan. Al leer el <strong>Salmo 39<\/strong> usted casi puede sentir el peso que \u00e9l llevaba encima. Solamente el perd\u00f3n trae alivio.<\/p>\n<p>La muerte de nuestro Se\u00f1or le ha reconciliado a usted con su Padre Celestial quien pag\u00f3 por adelantado la pena por nuestros pecados. La ley de la doble causa ahora nos excluye del castigo de Dios y nos garantiza el perd\u00f3n. <em>\u201cAhora, pues, ninguna condenaci\u00f3n hay para los que est\u00e1n en Cristo Jes\u00fas\u201d<\/em> (<strong>Romanos 8:1<\/strong>). Ninguna condenaci\u00f3n por parte de Dios y ninguna auto-condenaci\u00f3n del tipo que David sent\u00eda. No m\u00e1s culpa, la carga ha sido quitada. <em>\u201cAs\u00ed que, si el Hijo os libertare, ser\u00e9is verdaderamente libres\u201d<\/em> (<strong>Juan 8:36<\/strong>).
