Re: Gog and Magog War

Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)
Q

When this happens the Jews will be burying bodies for seven months and burning weapons for seven years, according to scripture. Would these scriptures not indicate that this war would have to happen before the Rapture? They could not be burning weapons during the entire seven year tribulation because in the last 3 1/2 years, they will have to flee for their lives and will be under great persecution. I cannot see them taking the time to burn weapons during the Great Tribulation because God will be protecting them in Petra. So many things will be happening during the last 3 1/2 years, I just can’t see how they could burn weapons for the entire tribulation period.

Interpreting Bible Verses

Published: September 6, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)
Q

Is it correct thinking to take any verse from the Bible and apply it to ourselves. For example, I have friends who love Jeremiah 29:11 saying it gives them great hope. But if I understand it correctly this verse was written to Israel during the Babylonian captivity. It seems like they’re taking a message out of context and applying it to themselves in an effort to make themselves feel better. I know there are verses in the New Testament which are written to the Gentile church, but can all Bible verses be applied to anyone?

God In A Man’s Body

Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)
Q

I comprehend your view that the Lord became a man for all time. However, I wonder if He can discorporate at will and function like a spirit (whatever form He used to have). What if Jesus resides mainly in human form but can voluntarily set it aside to do important work or something?

How Can We Prepare For This?

Published: September 6, 2014 (Originally published: September 6, 2014)
Q

There has been much speculation on the next horrific attack to hit the U.S. I have heard from more that a few sources, some are Christian, that the borders remain open to welcome terrorists and their weapons into major cities with the goal of annihilating millions and thereby fulfilling the power structure’s intention to reduce world population. Is any of this Biblical for the US and will it precede the Rapture? I understand the military and political leaders have underground cities designed to survive such an attack but the rest of us are sitting ducks. How could one possibly prepare for something this catastrophic?

Will Babylon Be Desolate Or Not?

Published: September 6, 2014 (Originally published: September 6, 2014)
Q

I was wondering why in the passages pertaining to the Doom of Babylon (Specifically Isaiah 13-14 and Jeremiah 50-51) there appears to be a contradiction when some passages say that the land would never be inhabited again by man or beast versus the land would be abandoned by men but would be inhabited by animals. Are they talking about different periods of its destruction? How are those verses reconciled with each other?

When Are Old Testament Saints Resurrected?

I have another question about the sequence of the first resurrection. When will the old testament saints be resurrected? Is that before or after the tribulation saints?

Questions About The Millennium

Published: August 31, 2014 (Originally published: August 31, 2014)
Q

Through my studies, I understand almost everything about end times until the second coming and then I get really Lost! Could you please walk me through the sequence of events that I will go thru, starting with the rapture? (I am, of course, born again.) Also, I read about people living during the millennium and having children. Who are these people that have children? Are these children born saved and remain saved for all eternity? And where does the millennium take place?

Ezekiel’s Battle And The Red Horse Of Rev. 6

Published: September 1, 2014 (Originally published: August 31, 2014)
Q

I recently heard a Bible teacher I respect say that Ezekiel’s battle is the same as the second seal judgment (the red horse). I know you’ve said that you think the Ezekiel battle will come before the tribulation because the Jewish people need a cause to return to old covenant worship. Other than that, is there a specific reason the second seal judgment and the battle in Ezekiel couldn’t be the same thing?

More On The Day And Hour

Published: September 1, 2014 (Originally published: September 1, 2014)
Q

Matt 24:36 begins with “No one knows about that day or hour …” and, if I’m not wrong, this passage refers to Jesus Christ’s second coming, but this second coming happens exactly 1260 after the abomination of desolation and so it looks like it is precisely predictable. If that is true, could that sentence in any way be referable to the rapture, event of which we cannot know the day nor the hour?”
