I have what is probably a silly question, however it has been on my mind on and off for quite some time. In Genesis Cain dwelt in the land of Nod. Cain also had a wife. Where did she come from and where did Nod come from?

My question concerns the rapture. I have someone who is suggesting that the rapture could possibly occur in phases. By that he means some will be raptured and maybe a little while later some others and so on and so on until all that are going to be raptured are gone.

He has not given me any biblical reference on this theory just something he believes will happen. Any suggestions on how to tell him what will really happen with bible verses to back it up?

You have often stated that the rapture is a number event as opposed to a timing event. I agree with you except for one nagging thought. People are born everyday and grow and learn everyday so people could be saved everyday and this could go on and on and on. Where is the cutoff? I hope my question makes sense. I have been reading your series on a study of Revelation. In your commentary on chapter 5, you state “God’s law requires that a next of kin redeem that which a family member has lost.” Where in scripture is this stated as God’s law? I ask because what you have presented fills many gaps for me. I just want to be able to back that up with scripture since it is the foundation of the point you present.

In your “Seven Major Prophetic Signs of the Second Coming” article, you say you believe that unless something happens to fracture Evangelicals as a voting block, we will keep America strong and independent until the Rapture.

Does that mean you don’t think America will suffer a financial collapse before the Rapture? Since end-time scriptures don’t mention America, and with our national finances in such a precarious position, I have wondered if a financial collapse (maybe sooner rather than later) could be the reason.

I have a ‘friend’ who happens to be Satanic, not very good huh? Well he has had some past dealings with Christianity, growing up in it and studying the Bible for 5 years. I have no idea why he would want to change his mind about something like that, but I was wondering, what would I say to that person?

He makes constant attempts to provoke me, and I’ve been trying to show him love. I haven’t reacted to any of his provocations, is this right? Should I defend the foundation of my beliefs or let them be trampled by this person over and over again? And another thing is how do you bring someone like that back to the faith? I think God has called me to this situation for this tough nut, but I am unsure of what to do.

Couldn’t the rapture be what causes America’s down fall? Several key US govt officials (including the president and Sec of State) are professing Believers and would go in the Rapture. What havoc would ensue if these individuals and others suddenly disappeared? Could that so pre-occupy the US that it would prevent us from coming to Israel’s aide in the battle of Ezekiel 38/39?

Also, how many millions of believers are there in the USA? Surely millions of people disappearing would bring the USA and our economy to its knees.
