Regarding your article on “Body, Soul, And Spirit”. If Adam and Eve were created with a heavenly alignment of body, soul and spirit and were one with the Spirit of God, how could they have disobeyed God in the first place?

I am really struggling with the idea you have taught that New Jerusalem will not be on the earth. Here’s an alternative. If New Jerusalem is in a “Spiritual state” and not a solid building type of thing, I believe it could exist right here on earth and not be seen by earth dwellers (and they would not be allowed in it at any rate). I agree with your idea that the thing would be too large to be on Earth if it was a solid block 1400 miles square and tall. I really believe that we as “Spirit People” will be in “Another Dimension” not presently enjoyed by humans except those like The Apostle John who saw all of the tribulation events and the New Jerusalem “In the Spirit”. Have I gone off the deep end?

You made a comment on one of the questions about the Parable of the Sower relating to the third kind of seed sown where thorns choked out the seed making it unfruitful. You summed it up by saying we’re saved because of what we believe not because of how we behave. Though I understand in principle, saved by grace, not by works, doesn’t what we believe produce how we behave? I have always understood that a true believer will always bear some fruit. Isn’t it possible that the group you referred to as “Most born-again Christians in the US today fall into this category”, profess to be Christians but in actuality are not true believers?

In reference to your answer to the question titled “The Power of Choice”, I’ve always wondered if Satan had not been in the Garden of Eden and had not tempted Eve, would Adam and Eve have disobeyed God anyway since they did not have a sin nature—only the power of choice? I realize you can only give an opinion on this, but I respect your thoughts.

In our discussion group, a question about Galatians 3:26-27 came up. The question was “to what baptism is this making reference? Some say it is referring to water baptism, some thought it could be a spiritual baptism equivalent to “baptism of the Holy Spirit”. Thanks for your thoughts on this.

If Adam and Eve and Satan were created perfect but still rebelled and disobeyed God what is to say Christians in heaven won’t eventually rebel or think an evil thought and get kicked out? Thanks for all you do I really enjoy your site!

In Matthew 21 :43 it seems that the kingdom will be taken from those outlined in v45. Do you think this refers to all Israel? Further, who are the people to whom it will be given, and when will this happen?

When did the disciples get baptized and invested with the Holy Spirit? And if I am right I believe that the robber who confessed on the cross to the Lord was neither baptized nor invested with the Holy Spirit and yet he was saved. Is that correct?

I have confessed my sins to God and repent and grieve over committing sins I fully knew were sins. I’ll admit He already knew them anyway. I can certainly understand confessing adultery to a spouse because he/she is the one sinned against. But what about other sins like abortion or pornography? Do you publicly tell your family members in order to confess?

I know you’re a firm believer in OSAS. I had an uncle who preached the gospel in his church, led many to God over the years, had a great testimony in the church and community. Somewhere along the way, he fell into a grievous sexual sin. He got found out, left the church, walked away from God. He made fun of those who continued to follow God. Are you telling me that he was saved and when he died he went to heaven?
