My question: Is there more than one God ? I interpret Genesis 1:26 to mean that there may be multiple Gods through out the Universe. Then God said, ” let us make human beings in our image and likeness.”

I’ve recently comes across 2 people who are naming their babies ‘Hunter’. Doesn’t this mean Nimrod? And aren’t they cursing their babies? Now my nephew wants to name his son Hunter. There is still time for him to change his mind, so I would really appreciate your opinion.

I have a question concerning Grace. Is it possible or is there a scripture that says we can speak Grace to the mountain? The mountain being sickness, prosperity, problems, etc. In our church service on Sunday, we were told we could speak Grace to the mountain. There was no scripture reference. Can you help me with this?

Re: Mark 10:25. Is there any truth in the theory that a ‘camel’ is an Aramaic reference to a thick rope used to secure boats to docks etc, which would make a lot more sense than referring to an animal?

In Genesis 4:13 Cain says to God, “whoever finds me will kill me.” Who exactly was Cain talking about?

In the 4 Gospels the Law is stressed, but in Paul’s letters, Grace is stressed. Is this because Grace did not come into effect until Christ died?

Is there any difference between the teaching and the preaching of the word of God? If somebody is teaching the word of God is he is then also preaching to me?

I have fallen into a grievous sin that I can’t seem to get away from. I am concerned because I am not very sensitive to it anymore even though I know it is sinful. Is there any way for me to regain that “innocence” and sensitivity to this sin that I once had when I first got saved? I long for it but am convinced that I will never have it again. I can’t even cry about it anymore and that makes me sad.

I’ve heard ministers of God claim that when they refused God’s call he sent tragedy into their lives even as far as killing their loved ones. They cite Jonah as an example of how far God can go to get someone to obey his call. Is this an accurate description of God? Also Eph. 4:11-13 says the gifts of the Spirit are given until we can all reach a unity in faith etc. Does the church have to get to this point before Christ can come for us in the rapture or is it as a result of the rapture that the church reaches this unity thus leading to an end of the gifts?

I have failed miserably over the years as a Christian. As Jesus said Anyone who wants to follow Him must deny himself and pick up his cross. I know I do not measure up. Maybe here and there I’ve really tried to do the Lord’s will but then I fail again. I used to work as an Lpn in a hospital. I’m disabled now. I didn’t confront my co workers and ask them did they know Jesus as their Savior because I didn’t want to make waves. Is this being ashamed of the Lord? If it is, will He tell me to depart from Him? I more then anything want to be like Jesus now. But now I am house bound. I only see my husband and son. I have just made an effort to start a web site telling people that God’s gift of Salvation is Free because this Lordship Salvation disturbs me terribly. I want other Christians to realize that our salvation is a free gift and can’t be earned by anything we do but I am still terribly afraid I haven’t denied myself enough. I haven’t picked up my cross when I should have. I am very upset and all I can do is beg the Lord’s forgiveness for being such a poor witness during my life as a Christian.
