I am trying to get a sound grip on a pre-trib rapture. Perhaps it would be easier to accept this as the next event in the Church age if it was explained in this manner.

The main purpose of the Rapture is not to provide an escape from coming events on earth but as God’s s way of restarting the prophetic clock to bring about the necessary completion of Daniel’s 70th week, Since the Church came into existence at Pentecost, there has been a 2000 year interlude between the end of the 69th week of Daniel and the final 70th week. That 70th week is necessary for Israel to come to salvation, and the Kingdom of God with Christ ruling in Jerusalem to be established. The Church age has to end before the final matter with Israel is completed. Is there a hint of truth in any of this?

Are the Jews going to be judged (or rewarded) differently than the Gentiles in the “latter days”. I realize there are different judgements at different times, such as rewards for believers, at the Rapture, the sheep/goat judgment of the nations after the tribulation, and the Great White Throne Judgment after the Millennium for nonbelievers? But what about the Jews?

I first wrote about the so-called blood moons five years ago.  At the time a video series on the subject was being heavily marketed as revealing the date of the second coming. By now most people no longer believe that, but the series is still popular and since we’re getting close to the next one’s arrival I’ve been getting questions about the blood moons again.

In a book I read recently, the author makes a case that there is a second chance for repentance by resurrected non-believers at the end of the millennium, especially for those who had not heard the gospel message during their first earthly lives. What is your take on this?

Thanks for your insight. You have really clarified for me these difficult-to-understand times. I tried to map out the upcoming battles in the middle east & was wondering about Egypt & Iraq. Are either of these countries under prophecy to attack Israel in Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38-39? I can’t seem to figure out where they fall into the picture.

I have read your study regarding the coming Temple being built north of Jerusalem. In it you mention the current Temple Mount being destroyed in conjunction with the Lord’s return. My question is: What do you envision happening that would convince the Jewish people of today to build their new Temple any place other than the current Temple Mount? I am not doubting you that it will be built north of the city, but can’t imagine how they will come to this decision.

One night around a bonfire our friends were talking about God. One man said he didn’t believe in God. My husband told him to jump in the fire and see what hell felt like because without God that was where he was going. But what about my husband ? All the while he was telling this man about hell my husband was steadily drinking his beer. He is from South Louisiana and all his people are cajun party people. They believe you should live life and enjoy it. That means drinking, dancing and having lots of fun. That is how he was raised and what he knows. Is he going in the rapture?

Could the current drought be a precursor of a famine in the California breadbasket? A good portion of the food Americans eat comes from California. God has in the past punished a nation filled with immoral sexual activity, not to mention abortion, with famine. Global warming people are blaming mankind for the drought. However, I think God may be unhappy with our immoral behavior.

Which countries did have a national covenant with God besides Israel? I hear Christians quote the scripture 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Could this be a scripture for any country, or just Israel? I think if any country, as a whole, did get on their knees and follow the advice of 2 Chronicles 7:14, God would certainly take notice. So, did any other countries have a covenant with God?

I Read your article on Why the Jews reject Jesus as the Messiah. I feel one of the important reasons is because God has hardened their hearts and second is if you look at who is rejecting Christ, is it not the same crowd who were present 2000 years ago??? The Rabbis, Saducees & Pharisees. Ordinary Jewish people are accepting Jesus by the hundreds of thousands.

I’ve listened to a tape by a man (didn’t catch a name) who states mainly that because of John 6:39-44 that there will not be a pre-trib Rapture. Because Jesus said in those verses repeatedly that the dead in Christ would be raised on the last day. He also used the story of Lazarus where Martha said in John 11:24 she knew the resurrection of the dead would be on the last day. He also used in I Corinthians 15:50-52 the words “at the last trump” stating that this means after the tribulation. What most concerns me is his point about Jesus stating the dead would be raised on the last day. Have you any idea of what I’m talking about?

I just saw on CNN news that Europe is experiencing extreme weather conditions, floods, droughts and heat. As you know the USA is also experiencing extreme weather. I would like to know if you believe this has to do with the end times. It seems peculiar that it is the USA and Europe since we are the nations that might be trying to get Israel to divide Jerusalem. I have also noticed that the news does not seem to talk about the weather conditions as much as one would think if it is as severe as it seems.

I just received an email yesterday from a friend of mine. She forwarded an email to me about situations going on in Iraq and the takeover by ISIS in Queragosh, Her friend is a missionary who feeds 50,000 people per day in Iraq and he is dealing with this tragedy. Some of the members of his church who he knows personally just experienced having their children executed. The insurgents went from house to house and asked the children to denounce Jesus or be killed. These teenagers refused to denounce our Lord and Savior and they were executed. So my question is this? What do you say to the parents of these children about Christians not suffering Wrath?

To be honest I would think you would have a very difficult time suggesting to them that the Christian church will not suffer persecution even unto death. I feel very strongly that this doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture gives people a false sense of security. That they do not really have to get their lives right with God, all they have to do if believe and they will go up to Jesus in heaven and let the other two thirds of the planet be killed and destroyed. I truly believe that this doctrine is going to make it very difficult for those to be prepared to have to give up their life if called upon.

In the case of Lot’s wife, I assumed that when she was pulled out of Sodom and Gomorrah with Lot and the family they were saved because they were found righteous to be spared. If that’s so, why would she be turned to the pillar of salt just for looking behind. I realize she didn’t follow the directions to not look back, but I don’t understand why she was punished like that. It’s like how we’re saved and we still disobey on occasion but we’re still saved from the wrath. So why wasn’t she?

When do you think the Sheep and Goats judgment will take place? My confusion stems from Revelation 19:17-18 when the angel calls all the birds to feed on the flesh of all men. Both obviously happen after the Glorious Appearing of Christ. But, if all men die by the sword of Jesus Christ’s mouth and are eaten who is alive to go to the Sheep and Goat judgment? I have considered it might be at the time of the White Throne Judgment, but I am uncertain about this!

I wanted to know your thoughts on the new Hollywood movie Left Behind starring Nicolas Cage. I subscribe to the pre rapture position, but lately I find myself conflicted on whether or not we will be taken before the Lord’s final return, mainly because I have been reading a lot of article responses where it is being refuted by a lot of Christians. I have been praying for the Holy Spirit to guide me to the truth on this and I keep stumbling across more people who say it’s not true. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I read a study by a post-Trib teacher who claims the Great Tribulation has already begun. Is there any possibility he could be right?

After taking Bible study classes and study of Scripture, I have taught Revelation in Sunday school from time to time and have taught that there will be a rapture. I know many Bible authorities teach that the only rapture will occur at the second coming. As I understand it, God says that if we wrongly teach what is in Revelation we will lose our heavenly rewards. What is your opinion?

I have a question concerning Proverbs 3:19-26. Could this passage be used to support pre trib? In verse 25-26 it states the desolation of the wicked will come yet the Lord will be our confidence and our foot will not be snared… Does “desolation of the wicked” mean the attacks from the wicked to others that will come or Gods attacks towards the wicked?

I’m in an area of doubt right now in my life. I struggle with accepting that those who simply don’t believe in Christ will be condemned for Eternity. I believe it because it’s something the Lord taught and the Bible speaks about, but I just find it hard to accept. I feel that it’s so much a kind of lucky ‘oh goodie! I picked the right religion!’ but can’t be just about that. I guess my question is, are people who feel God’s presence in their life and believe that they experience Him truly going to Hell just because they don’t believe in Christ?

Re: Isaiah 24. To whom is the prophet referring and what time frame (s)? Is it Israel and the dispersion? Is it the last days of the tribulation? Is it the end of Christ’s millennial reign just before time passes away and eternity begins?

I was reading Revelation 2 and have a question about the Nicolaitans. If they were indeed followers of Nicolas, who was said to be “..of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit…” in Acts, then do you think someone after Nicolas perverted his teachings, or Nicolas himself led them astray with his teachings?

I have a question about Deuteronomy 28:68 which says : “And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.” I was wondering if this was ever fulfilled and if so when.
