We first wanted to thank you for your website on the Bible and Jesus Christ. We have a question about the Apostle Paul that we hoped you may be able to answer. I was at a Sunday school class and asked the question, did Paul ever meet Jesus? The answer I got from the group was no. On the road to Damascus Paul met Jesus after he had ascended into heaven. Was Jesus’s appearance physical or spiritual? Please give us some insight.

This has been something that has been heavy on my heart and I wanted to ask you about it. My mother is a Mormon. She is 67 and converted to Mormonism at 17. A while back ago she and I were were in this discussion about Mormonism and Christianity on the phone. It did not go well at all. She stuck to her beliefs and I stuck to mine. My mother got mad and hung up on me. We do talk now but there is a line I don’t cross, meaning I keep my beliefs to myself.She told me there are errors in the Bible, she is firm in her beliefs, and that Mormons are the only true church. My question is: Is the millennial temple the same as the one the Jews are preparing now?

Does the Bible state a specific time when the seals of Revelation chapter 6 have to be opened? I always assumed that the events of chapter 6 followed chapter 5 and began after the rapture and consequently were opened during the first half of the 7 year tribulation period. A friend of mine and a well studied Bible student says he has recently raised this question himself and finds that nowhere in the word of God does it say specifically when the seals have to begin or that they are limited to be during the seven years of the tribulation. He has asked, “Why do we assume they are judgments’ of God?”

Do you believe life at the beginning of the millennium will start out being more simple and less complicated? For instance do you think families mostly will be farming, planting vineyards, etc, and using the barter system? I wonder how land will be distributed? Is this where Isaiah 9 comes into fruition; “The government will be upon his shoulders.”

In a recent answer about the para-church movement you said, “More and more people are turning to places like the internet to meet their spiritual needs. This has the added benefit of leading believers back into the pattern of self study, something the Lord always intended for us. (Acts 17:11)” What is the para-church movement?

Who was Simon the leaper? Was he one of the ten men cleansed by Jesus? If so where is it found in the bible?

Who do you suppose will hear the command, the voice, and the trumpet call which are all described in I Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.” Will it be the dead in Christ only, all believers (dead or alive) or everyone on earth that will hear these things?
