Magog. Russia Or Turkey? Follow Up

Re: Magog. Russia Or Turkey? At the end of your comments you quoted Ezekiel 38:15 and stated that it says “to the land of the ‘far’ North.” I have a King James Bible and it states, “And thou (Gog, vs. 14) shalt come from thy place out of the ‘North parts’.” Thou and many peoples with thee.” What translation do you use to find “far” North? I have always been taught also, that the invasion is from Russia, but this translation (far North) seems to be stretching the meaning a bit.

The Dead In Christ Will Rise First

Published: December 18, 2014 (Originally published: September 26, 2013)
Q

I can’t seem to find an answer to this question. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:52, the verses reference the dead rising first during the rapture. I don’t believe in soul-sleep, so I am confused by the word “dead.” I try to make sense of it by thinking those verses refer to the dead, but saved in Christ, rising first and the church being caught up second. But I’m confused as to why God would want to raise up dead bodies. Do you know what I mean? Most of those bodies have long ago rotted away and turned to dust, so what is going to be raised up if their spirits are already in Heaven? Thanks so much for your help!

When Will Ezekiel 38 Happen?

Published: October 4, 2013 (Originally published: September 26, 2013)
Q

Is it possible for you to give some kind of approximation of when you think the Battle of Ezekiel 38/39 will start? It seems like all the factors are falling into place. Haven’t huge amounts of gas and oil been found in Israel and wouldn’t this be motivation for Russia to start this battle? I’m wondering also about the other battles involving Damascus. Aren’t these supposed to happen before the battle of Ezekiel? Thanks so much for all the work you put into your website.

Another Nephilim Question

Q

This is a question which has been on my mind for years and is blocking my concentration on you article on The Nephilim. So here it is. If Noah’s line was the only uncontaminated line left on earth before the flood, where did the wives of the sons of Noah come from? Why weren’t they contaminated, too?

The Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

Published: September 28, 2013 (Originally published: September 28, 2013)
Q

I’ve been wondering, is there anything in prophecy that addresses the radioactive contamination from the Fukushima nuclear meltdown? I live near the CA coast and have a retreat up north. Everything I read from prophecy buffs says the whole Pacific Coast and Hawaii will be radioactive soon. Frankly, the East Coast isn’t any safer for a number of reasons. How should we address this threat when people bring it to mind?

Health Care In The Millennium

Re: “How Will they Merit Eternal Life”. Your answer raised a few questions in my mind, regarding the tribulation survivors found worthy to enter the kingdom (The Sheep) You said they will have earned eternal life once their natural life ends. Will there be medicine, doctors, hospitals, all of life’s technology that we depend on now, after Jesus returns and sets up his kingdom? If the Tribulation survivors will be re-populating Planet Earth, won’t they be in need of all these things?

The False Prophet?

Published: September 16, 2013 (Originally published: September 16, 2013)
Q

Over the last few months I have been shocked at some of the teachings from the Pope. Specifically, his statements negating the Bible’s clear teaching that Jesus is the only way to the Father. First the Pope told atheists that they would be saved if they were “good people”, and more recently, that if one merely follows their conscience they too would be saved. It seems like He has reduced Jesus from the Savior of mankind to a mere option among many. In light of his recent “teachings”, it seems to me that the Pope could be the emerging False Prophet of Revelation. Is it too early in the End Times to identify the False Prophet?

False Rapture Teaching

Published: September 16, 2013 (Originally published: September 17, 2013)
Q

I very much believe that we are in the last days and believe that the rapture of the Church could happen at any time. When I read blogs like the one I’m sending you, I find myself feeling a bit confused. I feel excited that they seem to indicate the rapture is imminent, but I have a difficult time supporting their “prophecies” through the Bible. It is difficult to see how this could be a deception when the primary focus seems to be to encourage people to witness and tell others about Jesus because the time is short. The discussion about a “cataclysmic event” and then 3 days of darkness prior to the rapture, however, does not seem to line up with the Bible. What do you think?

Israel’s Coming Battles and The Rapture

Published: September 16, 2013 (Originally published: September 17, 2013)
Q

I used to believe that the Rapture would need to happen before either Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38 could occur. My reasoning was that as long as America was both a super-power and Israel’s ally, no one would dare attack Israel (although it never stopped the Arabs in the past, I was thinking more along the lines of Russia and Iran). With our economy on precipice and the world no longer fearing us (watch the news), I’ve begun to think that the Rapture would not be necessary to weaken America sufficiently to encourage Israel’s enemies to attack. And having just read your article about the Restrainer, the sad thought that the Rapture might not occur until after the battles of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 entered my mind.

Since Paul stated that the Restrainer (Holy Spirit) will be removed at the “proper time” to reveal the anti-Christ, wouldn’t that suggest that the Restrainer would be removed just before the opening of the first seal rather than at an earlier point in time (e.g. before either Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38)?

Have you ever thought that Arabs coming to the LORD after Ez 38-39 is fulfilled will be numbered among Gentiles coming into Kingdom when they realize Allah the moon god is not the powerful god they thought he was?
