My question regards the teaching of Jesus in John 6:51-58. I hear Catholics say that they are taking these verses literally. Hence at their communion ceremony they are only following the word of God. My question is, what is Jesus really saying here?

Currently we are seeing the makings of a peace treaty in the Middle East, but it seems it is taking the efforts of many to bring it about. (of course, I assume also it might fall apart or not come about)
If this indeed becomes the covenant of many, how will we know the One who actually confirms it?

Where do you draw the line in case of what is acceptable and what is not when it comes down to women’s bathing swimsuit fashion. The most common reasoning is that a 1 piece suit is less revealing, therefore better for a Christian woman. Any thoughts on this?

De vez en cuando se me pide hacer un estudio sobre una porción específica de las Escrituras. Mientras que estamos esperando que el otro zapato caiga en el Medio Oriente, me gustaría responder a una solicitud que recibí recientemente referente a una porción del Sermón del Monte, comúnmente conocida como las “Bienaventuranzas”. Estas se encuentran en Mateo 5:3-12 con una versión abreviada y un poco diferente en Lucas 6:20-23. Así como todo el mundo pareciera estar hablando de guerra, podría sernos refrescante pensar sobre la paz, por un momento. No se trata necesariamente de la paz en el mundo, ni aun en el Medio Oriente, sino de la paz en nuestros corazones y en nuestras vidas.
