Do you think that Jesus would consider the modern state of Israel today a ” synagogue of Satan”? I often wonder how long God will allow the nation of Israel to exist without recognizing Jesus as Messiah. The year 2018 ( Lord willing ) will be 70 yrs. that the Jews have been back in the land.

I am writing in regards to the question the person asked about the history of the kings. I read the NKJV and it clearly states that all of this is in the Chronicles. Yet, what you said is that the use of the word, “chronicles”, here is talking about something outside the Bible. If this is correct, then where do we go to find the information that 2 Kings is referring to?

The article (Did God Really Say) from a couple of weeks ago on the JEPD was ultra-timely for me, as right after I read the piece, I was hit with this JEPD thing in a Bible Study. The material is presented as though this hypothesis is, forgive the pun, the gospel truth.

I always heard that Isaiah 7:14 refers to the prophecy fluffed by Jesus Christ himself, since He is Immanuel - God with us. But then, the context of the chapter and paragraph gives specific description of something that couldn’t refer to Jesus. How can you explain that?

We have all been created the same - we all get the same chance to get saved - I wonder why some say yes to Jesus, and are able to see them selves as sinners in the need for his salvation - and others do not see this, and instead choose the world, and thereby eternity in hell - why this difference?
