Psalm 83

O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.

“Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.” Read Post »

Is Germany Changing Sides?

Q. For years now I have always wondered how people could consider Gomer in Ezekiel 38 to be Germany. After all Germany was a Nato Allie and not a friend of Russia. Then I read a headline on Debkafiles that says “Russia, China, Germany reject US evidence of Iran’s covert nuke program “. Can we say the puzzle is coming together when two bitter enemies join together against the US? Read Post »

Re-interpreting The Nephilim?

Q. I am curious how you interpret “Men of Renown and Heroes of Old,” to be something bad, evil or wrong? In your writing you make a long jump taking the reader by the hand to simply accept that these Nephilim were indeed “fallen angels.” Read Post »

Desire The Greater Gifts

Q. God Bless you and your ministry. You have helped me and countless others to grow in an understanding of God’s Word, and I thank you.

I also believe that not everyone has the same Spiritual Gifts, and that God gives them according to His perfect will; I also believe that our gifts don’t change, but that God sometimes gives us a gift we don’t have to fulfill a specific purpose. But I was reading I Corinthians 12 and found something that confused me. Verse 31 says,” But earnestly desire the greater gifts.” Also, I Cor. 14:1 says, “Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”

When he said “desire the greater gifts” and “especially that you may prophesy” was he speaking to those who didn’t know what their gifts are? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your help! Read Post »

He’s Lost That Loving Feeling

Q. I have a friend who thinks that he has out-sinned God because he no longer feels or hears the Spirit anymore. He has had a long walk with the Lord. Is there any way to explaine what has happened to him? Thank you for your ministry. Read Post »

Marriage, New Vs. Old

Q. For many years now I have been wondering why it was acceptable for men in the Old Testament to have multiple wives and concubines ( and I am assuming they had sexual relations) while in the Church today you are either living in adultery or not saved if you have divorced and remarried .  The guilt can be quite overwhelming at times. Thank you for any help you can give. Read Post »

Oh Gente De Poca Fe

Read Post »

Who Were The Canaanites?

Q. Re: Zechariah 14:20-21.  On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.

Can you tell me what is meant that there will  no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD?  Who are the Canaanites? Thank you so very much for all you do. Read Post »

The Dead In Christ Will Rise First

Q. Thank you very much for your time and dedication to this site. I love the new lay-out, which has enabled me to easily find answers to questions when I become stumped on something.

I can’t seem to find an answer to this question. In ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:52 ), the verses reference the dead rising first during the rapture. I don’t believe in soul-sleep, so I am confused by the word “dead.” When I try to make sense of it by thinking those verses refer to the dead, but saved in Christ, rising first and the church being caught up second, I’m confused as to why God would want to raise up dead bodies. Do you know what I mean? I don’t think God has an interest in raising our physical bodies, many of whom have been cremated, so what is going to be raised up if the souls are already in Heaven? Thanks so much for your help! Read Post »
