Q. I have been visiting your site for some time now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Recently I received e-mail from the Reformation Book Store. They were advertising a book on the dangers of dispensationalism. It says that this belief causes confusion about how to pray for our Nation and the world because we believe the Bible predicts what will happen and there is nothing we can do about it, so why pray. I have to admit that I feel confused about this too. When we read that “there will be perilous times” why should we pray for wise leaders? What do you say on this subject? Read Post »

Q. My heart has been so heavy lately thinking about my friends and family who are too stubborn to believe in Jesus and His promises. It came to me that I might help them become saved before it was too late by describing the events of the 70th week and asking them “How many of these things would you have to see with your own eyes before you believe?”
My question is, if they do become saved after the rapture, can they then “Flee into the mountains” as somewhere to be protected until the end of the tribulation? Should this even be recommended to them? Or will they simply not make it there because it wasn’t meant for them, since they are not “those who are in Judea?” Read Post »

Q. I just came across your section on tithing and it brought up a question I have had for a long time. Since taxes get taken out of our gross pay before we even see the check, how can we give the first fruits? Is there a way that you know of to pay our taxes differently so that we can truly give our first fruits to Him? And it says the first fruits of our increase, does this mean non financial things also? Someone had donated a car to us and I’m not sure how to deal with that. And what about time? Every day we are given 24 more hours, can you imagine what our world would be like if we all tithed 10 percent of our time to Him? Read Post »

Q. First and foremost, a HUGE THANK YOU for your dedication and AMAZING web site! I tell everyone who will listen to me about your site. I’m like many of your other readers who read the questions and answers daily. When I miss a day, I have to catch up on what I’ve missed as I don’t want to miss one single question/answer, not to mention your feature articles.
I have a question and would really appreciate your thoughts. It appears that all is getting quickly set for the Ezekiel 38 war NOW, with the big exception of peace in Israel. I can’t get over how quickly prophecy is moving fast-forward every single day, especially since the change in the oval office. To me, it seems more like the world is preparing for the Ezekiel 38 war rather than the Psalm 83 war, but I could be missing something.
I read on your web site that Psalm 83 doesn’t specifically say there will be a war with those countries, and you gave some other possibilities, but the surrounding countries are certainly just as much a threat to Israel as those listed for the Ezekiel 38 war.
Also, I’m wondering whether you still think a Psalm 83 war is imminent with several years in between the Ezekiel 38 war. The way things are moving, I can’t IMAGINE there are SEVERAL years left before the Ezekiel 38 war. Read Post »

Q. I noticed that a lot of people visit your website. I was just wondering if you could make their email addresses available to the visitors on your site so we can interact. Very good questions are asked and you do a fantastic job of answering. Wouldnt it be great if we could all interact and maybe more studying and more questions would arise. I believe it would be a great learning tool and with you as our teacher how can we go wrong? What do you think? Read Post »

Q. Would you be kind enough to explain Luke 21:36? I am a born again Christian depending on what Christ sacrificed on the cross for me. I do not believe I am worthy to escape what is soon to happen, except for Christ in me, He alone is worthy. I am confused as to why it states in Luke 21:36 to pray always that I may be worthy to escape. Read Post »

Q. Regarding the question about what did Christ do on earth during the time between his Resurrection and Pentecost. I’m surprised that you didn’t mention that there are 50 days between the Jewish Feast of the First-fruits, and the Feast of Pentecost. Jesus was on earth for 40 days after His resurrection. 10 days after His Ascension was Pentecost. This was the fulfillment of those feasts. Read Post »

Q. I saw the letter from the guy who felt he’d let the Lord down by getting married.
In 1 thess. 4, it says let each man find a wife in a way that is holy and honorable. What does he mean let no one take advantage of him in this process? Is it referring to cheating him like Laban did Jacob? Is it adultery or fornication? Or could it be referring to everything? Read Post »

Commentary by Jack Kelley
The word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army-your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops-the many nations with you.
