Note: Psalm 119 is an acrostic poem which means that each of its stanzas begins with one of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet starting with the aleph and continuing in order through the tau. Within a stanza each verse begins with the same letter. Stanzas are titled with the letter they feature. Every one of the psalm’s verses mentions the Word of the Lord. This is the final segment of Psalm 119 and covers verses 137-176.

Q. I have a little concern here:
“Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.” So they proposed two men: Joseph called barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Mathias. (Acts 1:21-23)

Q. I want to thank you again for answering my questions. I certainly have a lot of them, but you seem to be the only teacher with answers.
I might be thinking too much into this, but the Age of Grace ends with the Rapture, which can happen anytime before the Anti-Christ signs the peace treaty, right? And, when he signs the peace treaty, the last 7 years of the Age of Law begins again, if I’m correct. So…what age (if there is one) is inbetween the Rapture and Daniel’s 70th week?

Q. The other night I was listening to (a well known teacher) concerning the rapture. He brought up 2nd Thess. 2:3 where in a lot of translations it’s called the falling away or the “apostate Church! He said that the Greek word seemed to also mean “departing” which would be more evidence for the pre – tribulation rapture. I have the Geneva translation and they use “the departing” instead of “the falling away”! I’m sure that others have written to you concerning this! I do think that as the days progress with time closing in that not only is this great news but we will have more understanding concering the times (as long as it’s fitting in the scriptures).

Q. It Looks like the Church at Corinth had about as many problems as we do today. What exactly does it mean to deliver someone to Satan for destruction of the flesh that the spirit might be saved? Is this the same guy in 2 Corinthians Paul is telling them to forgive?
It’s a good thing I don’t read the Bible with a laptop handy. Even after all these years of reading your website, there is always something. Thanks so much for your help.

Q. I have a question about marriage. I have seem to be at the end of the rope with mine. This is my second marriage and I am emotionally overwhelmed. To make a long story short, my husband has an addiction to pain meds. He is verbally abusive, lazy, irresponsible, a liar, and an addict. I have forgiven many times before but I feel drained. I do not think I can move forward with this marriage.

Q. I’ve read Revelation about 100 times, but just finally had an “ah ha!” moment regarding 8:13. Why is it that throughout Revelation it is angels pouring out bowls of wrath and blowing trumpets, etc., and then all of a sudden an eagle shows up hollering “woe”? Who or what is the eagle?

Q. Thank God for the bountiful knowledge He has given you.
I have a question that is similar to the question today regarding the meaning of “In The Image Of God”. I was listening to a popular radio show a couple of days ago and man of the Jewish faith, possibly a Rabbi, mentioned that in the Torah the meaning of “in His image” actually translates as “in His shadow”. I’m just curious as to what you think.

Q. I am unequally yoked for, now, thirty years with my second wife. Although she claims to be an atheist, I believe she tends more to agnosticism. She claims things of a “spiritual” nature hold no attraction or importance in her life. Yet, she responds with hostility and even anger when the issue is even mentioned.
My wife’s hostility to the mention of spiritual matters leads me to believe she is not entirely persuaded that God does not exist, but I still see nothing apart from His intervention to allow her to consider her need for salvation.
