Q. I was attending a church in my small town and really enjoyed it at first.  But the longer I attended I noticed that there were quite a few people (the more well to do) that felt they owned the church as well as the pastor of the church.  One of the ladies even asked the pastor if she was still the one that gave the most money to the church.  One elderly couple in the church are not happy unless they are running the financial end of the church and when the pastor disagreed with this man on an issue, the man decided to have his tithe designated to a certain thing in the church and convinced others also to do the same thing. That way there would not be enough money in the fund to pay the pastor his wages.  This is only a small amount of what this church has done.  I felt angry every time I attended so I quit!

Q. I have always wondered about the anti-Semitic epithet of “Christ Killers.”  I think awareness of God’s purpose is that the Jews were fulfilling His will by “crucifying the Lord of Glory” whose primary purpose in coming to earth was to die in their place for the sins of mankind, but in effect, for the sins of believers.  While it does not mitigate their guilt, the “Christ Killers,” were doing the will of God by fulfilling prophecy.  That understanding requires a degree of abstraction many are unable to achieve.

Q.  If known, what are the observable earthly signs associated with each of the Seals as Christ opens them?  If we are still here, for example, will one be able to say, “Oops!!  There went Seal Number 3.” As a different question (so as not to allow date setting) when, among the six Seals, do you believe the Rapture will occur?

Q. Thank you for the commentaries.  I was reading the “Bride” article and came across a question within the “Parable of the Wedding Banquet”.  You mention under the “Wedding Planner” third paragraph that the “Invited guests represent Israel”.  Also you mention under “Do You Know The Bride” the servants He sends out to invite them “are the 144,000 evangelists”.  I guess my question is, aren’t the 144,000 from the Twelve Tribes of Israel, making them the Israelites? Or is this maybe the “Saved” Israelites?

Q. I recently read an answer of yours concerning the readiness of Babylon (follow up). At the end of your answer, you mentioned that you thought all bible prophecy including the 2nd coming would be fulfilled by the end of 2018. I’m curious as to how you came up with that particular date.

Q. My Sunday School class is studying the book of Isaiah.  Yesterday we were in Ch. 43 and you can see right away that God is talking to the Jews, and that he refers to them as both “Jacob” and “Israel”.  He does this in both verse 1 and verse 22.  Can you give me your thoughts on this?  I don’t want to go off on my own understanding, and respect your opinion very much.
