If you’ve been visiting this site for any length of time at all you know I believe that once we’re saved we’re saved forever. I base this belief on a number of verses that say so in no uncertain terms.

In the Aramaic language the word peres can mean both divided and Persia. In what has to be the ultimate example of God’s irony, the politician most responsible for the disastrous land for peace program is Israeli President Shimon Peres, who would divide the land God gave to Israel and give it to the Palestinians.

Just before He was crucified, the Lord told His disciples that as the End of the Age approached we would experience an increase of wars and rumors of war. Nation would rise against nation and Kingdom against Kingdom, He said.

With the worldwide rise in anti-Semitism, it’s interesting to see all the different groups who claim that they are really Israel and the legitimate heirs to God’s promises. The first and largest of these is the Church.

Three current news reports indicate it’s time for another Ezekiel 38 heads up. Remember Ezekiel prophesied that sometime after the Nation of Israel was re-born, but before the beginning of the Millennium, a group of Moslem nations led by Iran and armed by Russia would pull of a devastating sneak attack, entering Israel from the North.

The undersea earthquake and resulting tsunami on 12-26-04 were bad enough. Now experts are saying the current death toll of 150,000 could easily double due to famine, disease, and lack of medical assistance. People are asking if the End of the Age is at hand, like right now.
