Q. Re: Numbers 13:32 . And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.”
The spies spread a bad report to the Israelites. When they saw the giants in the land, their hearts failed them for fear and they imagined that the pre-flood nephilim had returned. This wasn’t the case. The people were just giants, like the nephilim were. Read Post »

Q. My question concerns the events of the end times. I have often read how the 2 witnesses and the 2nd coming of Jesus will be seen world wide because of the present day communications such as CNN and other internet technologies that allow people to see real time images. However, these events are either after or during the endtime events that seem to cause massive destruction to the earth and to the inhabitants thereof. It seems to me that there will be such destruction that any infrastructure that would allow a world wide viewing of these events would be impossible. What say you?

Q. What a wonderful blessing your site it. It provides such great resources…we use your input weekly in Sunday School.
The author refers to the first covenant in Hebrews 9:1. I assume this covenant refers to the law and how to worship that was passed down to Moses from God. This confuses me as there existed covenants prior to this one, for instance the covenant between God and Abram, where God along with Christ walked through the blood path. Why do you think the author stated “first covenant” in this chapter?

Q. I have a specific issue. It’s obvious that, especially considering the times we live in, our most important priority is to pray for those around us to be saved, since prayer is the most we can do and otherwise, we can volunteer, attend our churches, etc. But what can I do besides pray? I know that prayer will lead me far, but is there anything else I can do in the meantime?

Q. You have become one of my favorite people to read. Your article on 8/29-2012…The End Of The World was both exciting and scary. I thought you tempered it well, as you always do, so I am not going to sit on the roof in 2012, but I had a thought this morning that raised a question.

Q. End times prophecy and the rapture are a very interesting and intriguing study, and the Bible speaks a lot about it, in many cases not giving all the details of future events. And so many good and faithful Spirit filled ministers seem to have their own ideas or translations of them, of course all leading us to eternity with Christ, but with many differences as to end times.

Q. I appreciate your answer to my question “Open to Misinterpretation”. I received an email from a friend. It is full of scripture references that she says support the practice of holy laughter. To me it’s a great example of manipulating scripture to suit your own purpose. What do you think?

Q. I just came across your section on tithing and it brought up a question I have had for a long time. Since taxes get taken out of our gross pay before we even see the check, how can we give the first fruits? Is there a way that you know of to pay our taxes differently so that we can truly give our first fruits to Him? And it says the first fruits of our increase, does this mean non financial things also? Someone had donated a car to us and I’m not sure how to deal with that. And what about time? Every day we are given 24 more hours, can you imagine what our world would be like if we all tithed 10 percent of our time to Him? Read Post »
