Q. My question regarding Daniel 10: 13, “But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.”
Is this a physical resistance, spiritual, or some form of restraining that can’t be explained to a human? Do God sent angels and fallen angels fight in the sense that we humans fight with weapons? Or does the spirit world fight with words from the Lord?

Q. Two years ago last month, my sister lost her husband to an extended illness. Recently, she has reported seeing “a patch of sparkling lights” in the corner of the ceiling in various rooms of her house. She reports that when this apparition materializes, she feels a calmness that is absent from the majority of her days. She never said anything about this to anyone until one day my niece was at the house and when the “sparkles’ appeared, she asked my sister if she saw it too.

Q. Thank you for your site. It is a wonderful resource for both new and old Christians. The question I have relates to the redemption of our sins. We know that Christ died for us, and by his death he paid the penalty for our sins if we chose to accept it. His blood was so holy that even one drop of it is sufficient to clear the world of all of man kinds sins, truly an amazing concept and wonderful act of love by our creator. The question which comes to mind though is what about the fallen angels?

Q. I have a question about Satan’s angels. Does the Bible offer any clues as to their motivation for joining Satan in his rebellion? While people have the weak excuse that they have never seen God, Satan’s angels have all been in His presence. Satan wanted to be “like the Most High”, but all his angels knew that they would be subordinate to him. So why would they betray God when they knew He was real and quite likely to get very mad? What could the devil have offered them? Read Post »

Where did evil originally come from? Since in the presence of God, evil cannot exist, how did Satan become evil?

My question is a two part one. First, exactly how many Archangels are there? Besides Michael and Gabriel, the only other one that I’m aware of is Raphael, and very little mention is made of him. Is there any particular reason why this is so?

Is there any information on guardian angels and their roles? Specifically, angels who watch over us individually on a one-to-one basis. Since we now have the Holy Spirit, does that mean we no longer have these guardian angels?

I read a commentary about the book of Genesis and it says that there are three interpretation as to the age of the earth; 1. that the earth was created 7000 thousand years ago, 2. That the earth was created millions of years ago, and 3. That the earth was created in 7 days but one day is equal to thousands of years. Please share your view on this one.
