Q. I was asked, and don’t know the answer behind the story, so I’m hoping you can explain; why did God (and why would he) command Saul in 1 Samuel 15:3 “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”
If children are innocent, why the children? I’ve heard other commentators suggest that Agag’s family-tree eventually led to Yasser Arafat and that if Saul had followed God’s command, today there would be no Palestinian issue haunting the Jews.

Q. When did the disciples get baptised and invested with the Holy Spirit. And if I am right I believe that the robber who confessed on the cross to the Lord was neither baptized nor invested with the Holy Spirit and yet he was saved. Is that correct?

Q. I have a question regarding the temple artifacts that are being made by the temple mount institute/newly reformed sanhedrin. If all these artifacts are being made, (I read an article where the menorah was recently made) are the Jewish people planning on rebuilding the ark of the covenant? Or have they maybe secured the original? Please express your thoughts on this.

Q. I watched a TV special on the sphinx recently. They were trying to calculate how many years and how many people it would have taken to build it. I was wondering if this could have possibly been what the pharaoh had the Israelites working on before Moses came to get them. I knew you would know the approximate timing of its construction. Do you think this and the pyramids were built before the flood? Your take and knowledge on this would be appreciated.

Q. I was wondering what your source is when you say according to “Jewish history” or “Jewish tradition” is. I listen to your mp3 tapes all the time in fact I burn them to a disc a listen to them during my morning drive to work. I have searched the Internet over and cannot find a Jewish tradition or Jewish history site. I really enjoy all the historical background that you add in all your sermons. If I could only find a preacher like you, I would show up every Sunday to church.

Q. I have a question regarding baptism. Why was John the Baptist baptizing people if Jesus had not come and died on the cross yet? When did the practice of baptism begin and what was the purpose? I thank you for all the wisdom you share.

Q. 1 COR.11 seems to put women under the law much as circumcision did for men. Also, using the “2 witness” method, this cannot be supported elsewhere in scripture. Why do you teach that this has never been revoked?
