Q. Do the birth pangs described by Jesus in Matthew 24 include the seal and trumpet judgments, or are they intended to precede Daniel’s 70th week? To me, the birth pangs described by Jesus are general enough that they are not exclusive of the seal and trumpet judgments. If we truly are in the throes of labor and labor includes the seal and trumpet judgments, this is one labor for the record books.

Q. I understand the fact that after the rapture the Holy Spirit will no longer be sealed within those who become believers. It is however too difficult for me to share this with my brothers and sisters in Christ because they continue to look at the New Testament scriptures for the Church and believe God would not give the sealing of the Holy Spirit to one believer and not another, even if it is a Tribulation saint.

Judging from some of the questions I’ve received lately, people are really getting impatient for the end times to begin in earnest. For years fringe groups have been claiming that the seal judgments have already begun, but it looks to me like this opinion is suddenly becoming more popular.

In Will All Israel Be Saved?, you said, “According to Zechariah 12:10, sometime during the Great Tribulation the Lord will pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication causing the eyes of the Jewish people to be opened to the realization that Jesus has been their Messiah all along.” I thought that this was done back in the Ezekiel 38 war at the onset of the tribulation…when God supernaturally intervenes and defeats Israel’s enemies. Are these two separate events then?

Q. Do you have any scriptures at hand that proves beyond doubt that God’s wrath starts at the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week and not half way through the 70th week?

Q. I’m still having difficulty understanding how people get saved during Daniel’s 70th Week. I understand that faith is the cornerstone, as it always has been. But salvation will not be guaranteed, as it is now. The Jews will return to the old system of sacrifice and offerings. I assume, in order to maintain their salvation (prove their faith?). What about the Gentiles, like some of my family members? Will they also participate in sacrifices and offerings? Or, do the Gentiles prove their faith in some other way?

Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?” (Ezekiel 38:13)
These questions will be directed at the leaders of Magog (modern Russia) by the uninvolved nations as they witness the surprise attack on Israel, prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. Almost everyone agrees this attack is still in our future, and many have wondered what type of plunder would prompt Russia to undertake such an effort.
