Q. I am currently listening to your mp3 recordings on Revelation, I am confused on the location of unbelievers, who have already died. Have they already been judged and in torment? Or are they in a sleep state and will rise up at the end of the tribulation and face judgment. In other words from Adam to yesterday where are the people who did not believe in Jesus/God, who have died.

Q. Could you please tell me if fearing hell is a proper or legitimate reason for wanting to get saved. I’ve heard some evangelists say that this is not a proper motive for seeking salvation and that it is a selfish reason for seeking Jesus. I’m somewhat confused because this was what caused me to repent of all known sin after I got down on my knees and ask the Lord to save me after reading about hell on the internet. If this was a wrong reason,then do I have to start over and seek Him for the right reasons,whatever that may be?

Q. I have written you several times in the past and always appreciate your honest, biblical answers. This time my question relates to free will and God’s omniscience and sovereignty… sort of. I don’t know how to identify my question. My husband is an atheist, or an agnostic at best. He always says he equates God’s relationship with us as slave-like. He can’t get his head around why God would only give us two options: choose Him and life is new, secure eternally, etc., or deny Him and we suffer eternally.

Is it selfish to accept Jesus just because a person wants to avoid going to eternal judgment? I mean, after all isn’t that the message Jesus gave, that those who didn’t believe would be in a horrible place for all eternity?

I have a question about the Trinity. What do you think happened to the Trinity at the crucifixion – if Jesus was separated from His father by bearing the sins of mankind? Also if Jesus took everyone’s sin does that mean he descended into Hell before being resurrected and if so was that as Triune? Thank you and may God Bless you.

Concerning an earlier question of the fate of an unsaved soul. Jesus seems to answer this question with the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man at death was sent to suffer the flames, while Lazarus went to heaven and was comforted. Is the place the rich man is sent Hell and if so, is there any reference to the place of judgement before the rich man is sent to the flames?

Did Jesus descend into hell after he was crucified? Where in the bible does it refer to Jesus taking the keys to hell from Satan?
