Q. For the most part I enjoy your site and agree with most of what you write, but I do have some questions. You write that during the tribulation, those who come out of it are from Israel and not Gentiles, unless I misunderstood you. Also, you write that tribulation saints have to hold onto their salvation by works, again, if I understood you correctly. Do you not believe that those Tribulation saints spoken of in Rev. 7-14 include Gentiles?

Q. I was just wondering what the relevance of Lot’s wife turning into a pillar of salt is in Gen 19:26? I know Lot was an example of the Church, but what was she? She was escaping with ‘the Church’ but then didn’t make it.

Q. Re: Synagogue of Satan (Rev. 3:9) Would you help me understand this phrase in the context of what a Jew should understand? What is the meaning?

Q. Re: Rev. 5:8-10. I really appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions. In your last reply you mentioned that the Church is in Heaven in Revelation 5 based on verses 9 and 10. Don’t these verses refer to the 4 living creatures and the elders mentioned in verse 8 and not the redeemed from the rapture?

Q. Regarding the question of how long is a generation. I’m in agreement with those who favor the 70 yrs…but I’m wondering about the verse in Psalms that says a generation is “…70 years or because of strength, 80″. Strength of what? Strength of individuals?, the economy?, the military?, morals?,….if this verse is saying that a generation may stretch to 80 years, then how is that measured? Frankly, considering the way our country/world is going, 70 seems more likely than 80.

Q. Please help me to perhaps understand what Paul is trying to tell us here. In the early verses I seem to understand him that he is telling us about Israel that is eventually going to be saved after the full number of Gentiles has been saved. verse 23 confuses me a lot because Paul speaks as if Israel will have to show some belief in Jesus in order to be saved, although in the early chapters he speaks as if God intentionally made Israel not to understand Jesus. Then in verse 26 he speaks as if Israel is eventually going to be saved without any effort, which is what I believe on. But Paul confuses me when I read verse 23 and 25 as they seen to be contradicting.

Q. What is going on in John 20 when Jesus breathed on the disciples and told them to receive the Holy Spirit? Prior to this event, Jesus told them He could not send the Holy Spirit to them until after He returned to His Father. Then after this event He told them to wait in Jerusalem for the arrival of the Holy Spirit. So what happened in John 20, how do we explain this?

Q. In Genesis 3:1, the serpent is described as in it’s Edenic form, which is not a writhing reptile. In Genesis 3:14, God cursed the serpent by telling it: “On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.” It seems that Genesis 3:14 describes the serpents (snakes) of today’s world. However, there are serpents in today’s world which have appendages which appear to the remnant of legs or feet. Is there any correlation between these serpents of today, which have these appendages, and the serpents of Edenic period, described in Genesis 1:26 as “….every creeping things that creeps on the earth”?

Q. I was just wondering about your belief, that Jesus’ second coming will probably occur at most by 2018 and I know you use the 70-80 years of life from the bible and Israel’s rebirth of 1948 as your calculation for this date. But I was just wondering how come you’re so sure it is 70 years that’s to be added to 1948 instead of 80, which would make the second coming at most by 2028? Don’t get me wrong, I want Jesus to rapture us today and I know that whenever that day will be, it will surely be the right one since it is God who will be making the decision, but I was just curious about that.
