Q. My Bible study on Sunday night the question came up about King Saul’s salvation. One lady thought there was a verse in the Psalms that said he was saved. The leader of the study thought he was not saved. I could not find the verse. Can you shed any light on this?

Q. My question to you is if it is a possibility that Jesus was in his last hour abandoned by the Holy Spirit or he was not. My idea is that he was abandoned at it’s last hour just like many people are going to find out after the rapture. that the Holy Spirit it’s no longer among them. What is your opinion on this please?

Q. Thank you for your encouragement and for your obedience to present the truth of scripture. My spirit is sensing so much darkness in our world today. I don’t know if it is because I am more sensitive to it or if it is really increasing. I wanted to know more about when the bible tells us that the God will no longer restrain evil in the last days. Will this be a gradual measure of allowing evil or will there be a definite line of demarcation when the Holy Spirit no longer restrains the evil of this world?

Q. I really enjoy your website, thanks for all the work you do. Here is my question. In Psalms 51:11 David says” Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me”. First off, I thought believers were not given the Holy Spirit until after Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. My next question is why did he pray “take not thy Holy Spirit from me”? It sounds to me as if the Holy Spirit could be taken back. Any insight into this scripture would be appreciated. Thank you!

Q. Thank you so much for your willingness to answer questions about the Bible. I was wondering about something I have heard about called “The Second Blessing” which I believe refers to a powerful annointing of the Holy Spirit upon a believer after and completely separate from his conversion experience. From what I can gather it is an experience that allows a believer to enter into a whole different level of Christian experience because he/she is willing to give everything, their entire being to Christ. Do you have any information or thoughts on this subject?

Q. I have a bible tract that suggests we could be tortured or killed for our faith here in America before the rapture or tribulation begin. Do you think this is possible? What about people who do like Peter did and deny Christ out of fear? I know that you are supposed to love God more than your own life but thinking of torture and the ways you could be tortured are scary. Peter was forgiven but how do you deal with something like that?

Q. Thank you for your very knowledgeable answers to the many questions about the Bible. You are ministering to thousands by your web site and I pray God’s blessings for you.
I have been reading some of the answers concerning the Holy Spirit. It has been my understanding that when the Church is removed from the earth, the Holy Spirit also leaves and will not be available to those who are saved after the Rapture. Because of His removal, lawlessness and sin prevails . Have I been believing wrongly? Read Post »

Q. I read an article on (a well known Christian news site) that reports as much as 58% of Christians don’t believe the devil, nor the Holy Spirit really exist as actual persons. I had always thought that believing in the Trinity was necessary for salvation. Am I wrong? Please share your thoughts. Read Post »
