After the battle of Ezekiel 38-39, when Israel reinstates their Old Covenant relationship, will this be acceptable to God? The message of salvation must be consistent – belief in the coming Messiah changing to belief the Messiah has already come.
Ezekiel 38-39 is how God will draw Israel back to Him (Ezek. 39:22). It will begin with a re-instatement of the Old Covenant, which will be acceptable to God. We know this because Israel has 7 unfulfilled years to complete in order to prepare them for the Kingdom Age (Daniel 9:27). Near the end of the seven years they will finally recognize Jesus as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10) and when they do, they will petition His return (Hosea 6:1-2) at which time He will come back to establish Israel’s Kingdom Age, which we know as the Millennium.
