Hardened In Part

Q

I was wondering if there was scripture about some but not all of the Jews turning to Jesus before the Rapture and Tribulation?

A

In Romans 11:25 Paul said Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of gentiles has come in. The Greek word translated hardening means to have a dulled perception and comes from a root meaning to become callused. But he was speaking of the nation in general, not of individuals. This means some of the Jewish people have retained the perceptive ability to recognize Jesus as the Messiah of Israel, and throughout the Christian era this has been the case.

I believe that if an accurate record could be tallied it would show that the number of Jewish believers as a percentage of the total Jewish population has increased dramatically in our generation. If true, this would confirm that the time of the Church is coming to a close.
