Hidden Rapture Doctrine, Follow Up

Q

When we meet the Lord in the air, Satan’s front yard, do you think we will be able to see Satan and his demons ? I’ve imagined them all, powerless to stop Jesus and all of us as we are passing through to heaven. I would think Satan will be enraged.

A

The Bible doesn’t give us this kind of detail, so I’m only voicing my opinion that we’ll be gathered in Satan’s sight. But if I understand the capabilities of a perfected body, it makes sense that we’ll be able to see spiritual beings as well as natural ones.

Keep this in mind, too. Quoting Psalm 8:4-6 the writer of Hebrews said that Jesus was temporarily made lower than the angels (Hebr. 2:7). But Paul wrote that after His resurrection He was raised far above every heavenly power (Ephesians 1:19-21) which includes Satan. Then he said that we have been raised up with Him to be seated with him in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6). This tells me that when we are gathered in the air, if it is in view of Satan and his demons, we’ll be looking at them as superiors look upon their subordinates, knowing they can do us no harm.
