Is A Believer Marrying An Unbeliever A Sin?

My question is on 2 Corinthians 6:14 which states “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbeliever”. Is that means, if believer does marry unbeliever, that He or She commit a sin? Or is this just a recommendation?

I thank You for your site, I visit it every day. God bless You.

A. Paul doesn’t actually come out and say that it’s a sin. But it’s much more than a recommendation. Consider it a strong admonition, something we’re not supposed to do because it puts us outside of fellowship. God cannot bless such a union.
