Is Jesus ruling as King of Kings and Lord of Lords now, or is He acting in His High Preistly function to the Church and will take His role of King at the end of Time?

Currently the Lord Jesus functions as head of the Church. According to Rev. 11:17 He will officially begin His reign as King at the outset of the Great Tribulation. And it appears that one of His first official acts will be to forcibly expel Satan and his followers from Heaven (Rev. 12:7-9). This will set the stage for the final showdown, after the people of Earth have been judged for their sins. On the day of His 2nd Coming He will be acknowledged as King of the whole Earth (Zechariah 14:9).
