I’m not sure when Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 will happen, but when I look at the conditions of the nations involved in Ezekiel 38, it seems unlikely that battle is anytime soon. Am I wrong to assume that Ezekiel 38 is probably some years off?
This is just my opinion, but I think that Ezekiel 38 is a ways off yet, especially if Israel and/or the US attack Iran. (Remember, in Ezekiel 38, Iran and others attack an unsuspecting Israel.) I think that Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 may happen soon, perhaps in connection with the current civil war in Syria, and then there will be a short period of peace while the region catches its breath, leading up to Ezekiel 38.
Israel has to perceive itself to be at peace when the Muslim coalition attacks and it’s hard to imagine that happening with Hamas, Hizbollah and Syria amassed on Israel’s borders. I think they have to be neutralized first.
