More End Times Chronology

Q. I have a follow up question on the End Times Chronology question. I’m not sure when Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83 will happen, but when I look at the conditions of the nations involved in Ezekiel 38, it seems unlikely that battle is anytime soon. Am I wrong to assume that Ezekiel 38 is probably some years off?

A. I think that Ezekiel 38 is a ways off yet, especially since it’s likely that Israel and perhaps the US will attack Iran near the end of this year. I think that Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 will happen soon, perhaps as a retaliation for our attack on Iran, and then there’ll be a period of peace, perhaps lasting several years, leading up to Ezekiel 38.

Remember, Israel has to perceive itself to be at peace when the Moslem coalition attacks and it’s hard to imagine that happening with Hamas, Hizbollah and Syria amassed on Israel’s borders. I think they have to be neutralized first.
