Speaking Against Satan

Q

I thank God for this wonderful site. There’s an air of freedom about it. My question is: Where in the Word does it mention that we are not to talk against Satan?

A

In his brief letter, Jude criticized unbelievers, saying that they “pollute their own bodies, reject authority, and slander celestial beings.” Then he said that “even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’” (Jude 1:8-9)

His point was that if Michael didn’t dare speak against Satan, then, as mere humans, neither should we.
