The Kingdom Of God

Q. I am so grateful for your teaching, I am reading every day. My question is, how can I best explain to someone, what is the Kingdom of God?

A. The Kingdom of God comes in two phases. The first one is what we call the Church, the body of believers from every people and nation who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. It began at Pentecost just after the Lord’s resurrection. Some call this the invisible kingdom because we can’t really see it. (Luke 17:21) It’s hidden in our hearts and only the Lord really knows who belongs.

The second Phase is when Jesus returns to set up a literal Kingdom on Earth and reigns here for 1000 years. (Rev. 20-22)
