The Seven Thunders
I’m studying the book of revelation and came across Rev.10:4 about the seven thunders. What does it mean and why wasn’t John allowed to reveal what they said?
Q. I’m studying the book of revelation and came across this verse. Rev.10:4 and when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write:and I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. What does this mean and why wasn’t John allowed to reveal what they said? Thanks for your insight.
A. The fact that the seven thunders were sealed up means no one but John knows what they said and he’s not allowed to tell us. For reasons of His own God did not want their message included in John’s writing. Since the Book of Revelation was God’s final word to man, their message has not been revealed to this day.
