With the 40th anniversary of the Six Day Middle East War approaching this coming June 5, could there be any prophetic significance in the anniversary? What is your opinion of this based on scripture? Thank you.
In 1967 Jerusalem became an undivided Jewish city for the first time since 135 AD. Forty is the number of testing, so there could be a test of Israel’s resolve in maintaining their commitment to Jerusalem as their eternal undivided capital.
Just about every religious and secular commentator on the Middle East has given the likelihood of war sometime this summer a high probability. I personally don’t any prophetic fulfillment relating to the Six Day War in this. More likely the prophetic fulfillment of a war this summer would relate to Isaiah 17 and Damascus.
