What should we expect to happen here in the United States and the world for that matter, when Israel hits Syria , Iran or others there? And what should we do to prepare for war in the Middle East?
Pres. Ahmadinejad of Iran has often threatened that if Israel attacks Iran, American interests in the Middle East (troops, bases, ships, etc.) would suffer. But recently he said that nuclear explosions would go off in American cities, too. While no one knows for sure if this will happen, neither is any American official claiming that it couldn’t. Our ability to strike back will likely prevent Iran from attacking here, but chances are we’ll pay some kind of penalty. As for war in the Middle East, this is not a question of if, but when. Currently signs are pointing to sometime this summer. About all we can do at this point is pray and stay out of the way.
