Were They Saved?

Q

It is appointed unto man once to die and then face judgment. Now my question is with the recorded deaths in the bible (Lazarus, Jairus’ daughter, etc), if someone died who was not a believer but was brought back from death and got saved in their “second life”, would it count or are they still damned to hell because they did not believe before they died the first time.

A

There are at least 6 and probably 8 people who were brought back from the dead in the Bible. (I’m sure there have been many more since then.) They were all exceptions to the one life rule of Hebrews 9:27. Only the Lord knows for sure when they were saved. But my guess is if they weren’t believers when they died the first time, they all became believers after being brought back from the dead and the Lord counts them as being saved.
