Where do our spirits go after we die? Knowing that one of our Lord’s Names is the LORD OF SPIRITS, do we go back to our spiritual origin?

According to 2 Cor. 5:6-8 when believers die our spirits go to be with the Lord. But that doesn’t mean our spirits originally came from there. Psalm 139:13 says God created our inmost being (our soul and spirit) and formed our bodies in our mother’s womb. That means no part of us existed before our parents conceived us.
