Q. I’m curious. Last night as I read thru your article on the Revelation, you talked about the Babylonian system of commerce which looks a lot like our world’s system of capitalism and all its trappings. So what does God’s system of commerce look like?

Q. Yesterday, I was reading chapters 20, 21 and 22 of Revelation. I noticed a note I put on one of the pages, which was a quote where you describe the New Jerusalem (or celestial city) as a “low orbit satellite”. I feel somehow most comfortable with this concept and when I read the quote to my husband, he felt exactly the same. It just seems to make sense. But I have a question about this and I do hope that you will be able to give a suitable (scriptural) answer. We have never heard anything like this from other sound teachers of prophecy/eschatology. Would you say that most of them agree with you on the future location of the Great City? And if they do, why haven’t they mentioned it in their writings/teachings?

Q. In several earlier responses, you’ve said that, in our next life, there will be no remembrances of past things because that would then introduce sin, or memories of it, into our lives and that isn’t in accord with eternal joy. My problem is that another Biblical scholar (unnamed, but solid), said that Jesus’ resurrection body was an example of what ours will be and since his body was able to move through solid objects ours will too, and that since Jesus could travel through time, we can too, and now it comes apart. If we went backward in time, then we would, in fact, be introducing sin or sinful memories into heaven. See my dilemma?

Q. Thank you so much for your site. I have been a believer since I was a preteen, I am now in my late 50’s, and I have always been interested in the end times. I have learned a lot from your site. However, I have another question about the millennium. If I understand correctly, the church will be in New Jerusalem, the tribulation saints serve in the temple, those who survived the tribulation will live on Earth to repopulate it with the Jewish people living in Israel. How about the Old Testament saints? I know they were in Sheol until Jesus went to get them and they are in Heaven now. But where will they live during the millennium? Thank you so much for your work in the faith.

Q. The Bible says that in the Millennium the old things will not be remembered. What, exactly, constitutes the ‘old things.? I’d like to see, up close and personal, the great events of history; Jesus’s life, the Flood, Creation, etc. Will all of that be forgotten? And, there are some earthly things that I really enjoy, sports, trains, Mexican food, etc. Will those things be forgotten as well? What about relationships? Will we have best friends, lovers, romance, dancing, etc? David said in Psalms that he desires nothing except God. Really? So, does that mean we’ll remember nothing of our life here and know only God?

Q. I’ve got a question, probably unanswerable, about our roles in eternity. My understanding is that believers will be assisting the Lord in governing in, what…earth, New Jerusalem? But, in that time, won’t everything be perfect? Who and what are we supposed to govern? How can you fix something that isn’t broken? I’m told our roles are kings and priests, but again, kings over what/who and what does a priest do?

Q. I just read your article on Matt: 25, about the 10 virgins. I have always believed this to be about the rapture of the church, but your explanation has convinced me it is for trib. believers. The only thing I am still confused about is v. 10 How can anyone come into the marriage after the rapture? who will be left for the mill. kingdom? I thought the marriage took place during the 7 year trib. in Heaven or New Jerusalem.

Q. I have been listening to your mp3 series on Revelation for two days and I have to take a little break to try to work out an idea that has cropped up. If a river flows out of the temple mount and runs in two directions and one of the directions is toward the Med. Sea, then I can’t see how the Med Sea flow into the river won’t change the direction back toward the other end. The other end of that flow would be the Dead Sea. Isn’t the Dead Sea way below sea level? And if so, won’t the water try to reach it’s own level which would be the level of the Med Sea?

Q. When the New Jerusalem ascends from heaven in Rev 21, I was under the impression that the city would not be on earth, but sort of a satellite, like our moon. If that is the case, then part B of Rev 21:24 intrigues me: “The peoples of the world will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their wealth into it.” If this city is a satellite, how do earthly people “bring their wealth into it?” I believe you also believe the New Jerusalem will be a satellite. I hope I interpreted that correctly. I guess there might be forms of travel. It seems odd to think that we are new creatures and will be mingling with humans, or that humans will be walking within the New Jerusalem.

Q. You have taught that, as time passes during the Millennium, mortal man, again, will become increasingly evil, and sin will become widespread (again). The result is that, when Satan is released, he will have no problem gathering an army to go to war again against God. Does Scripture say that sin and rebellion will occur only in the Nations, but the Kingdom will be singularly free of it? Does it mean that Israel, alone on earth, will be free of the rebellion that will characterize the rest of the earth as the Millennium draws to a close? If Yes, is that a result of our Lord’s personal, hands-on, Rod of Iron rule of Israel?
