Every Eye Will See Him

Q

In Rev 1:7 it reads, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, and they also who pierced Him.” But in Rev 20:11-15 it reads that the unsaved won’t be raised until the end of the Millennium. Assuming that, “…they also who pierced Him,” were unsaved Jews (or Gentiles) at the time of the crucifixion, then how can they see Him when He comes in the clouds at the 2nd coming?

A

Jesus also told the Jewish leaders who were condemning Him to death that they would see Him in the future sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of Heaven (Matt. 26:64).

Add this to John’s statement in Rev. 1:7 and it means it won’t just be those who are alive at the time of the Second Coming who will see Him. His Coming will be visible to the spirit world as well, saved or unsaved, including those who were directly responsible for His death. When John said, “Every eye will see Him” he meant that literally.
