Chapter 5

Several of the sayings we still use today come from this chapter. “The handwriting’s on the wall”, “your days are numbered”, and “your number’s up” are some examples. Chapter 6

Chapter 7

With chapter 7 the Book of Daniel shifts from a chronological account of the Prophet’s life in Babylon to a series of prophetic visions he received. The first one has to do with Gentile Dominion and describes the Kingdoms who would rule the world from Daniel’s time until now. Listen/Download Study

 

Chapter 8

The focus of Daniel 8 is Alexander the Great’s defeat of the Persians, and the subsequent domination of Israel by one of his successors. Chapter 9
