Within the past few days I received what is essentially the same question from four different people, each unknown to the other as far as I can tell. The question was this: Did Peter and Paul teach the same gospel?

The following question came into my in box a few days ago and seemed to merit a more detailed answer that I usually have room for in our "Ask A Bible Teacher" column. Here it is. Q. What is your opinion on the alleged 'failed prophecies' of the Bible listed below?

Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!" and I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer. (Rev 6:1-2)

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
