Re: Does God Destroy The innocent? Your Noah reference does not make sense to me after reading your scripture references. I only read God saying He is going to destroy the world and Noah and his family are the only ones to survive. Where was this invitation to come aboard?
What I said was, God waited seven days after the ark was finished so anyone who wanted to could get aboard. The references I gave (Genesis 7:4,10) confirm this. During the seven days, while Noah and his family were boarding themselves and the animals, there was nothing to prevent anyone who wanted to come aboard from doing so, but no one did.
I didn’t mention any kind of invitation, but surely there was no one in the area who didn’t know why Noah had built the ark, and since Noah knew what was coming I can’t imagine him refusing anyone admission. Studies show there was plenty of room.
