The previous verse answers the question. “They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved” (2 Thes 2:10). As I said, 2 Thes. 2:9-12 support the idea that those who have refused the Lord’s offer of salvation will not get another chance after the rapture. They will believe the lie. But those who have not made up their minds in time for the rapture will have the opportunity to be saved during the end times judgments afterward. Otherwise how could there be so many Tribulation believers? Rev. 7:9 speaks of a great multitude that no one could count from every nation, tribe, people and language. This is not the Church, but a group of Tribulation believers.
