You have been so helpful in the past, I have another question for you that may benefit others. Jesus said that anything we ask that is in the will of our Father would be granted. If we ask God to increase our faith and love for him, will he do that? I know that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, but does that include giving us a deeper love for him?
God didn’t send His son to Earth to start a new religion. He sent His son to make it possible for us to have a personal relationship with Him.
In John 1:12-13 we read that by believing in the Son we automatically become children of the Father. And in Galatians 4:4-7 Paul wrote that God has actually adopted us into His own family, giving us the right to call Him by His most intimate name, and making us His heirs.
He did this because one of the things He wants most for all of us is to have a deeper love for Him. That’s why He showers us with so many blessings. You can be assured that if you pray for that, He will grant it.
