Q
I’m aware that Adam was created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and that Jesus is the bodily representation of God (Colossians 1:15). Does it seem Biblically accurate that Jesus and Adam resembled each other? In a sense like twins? Or is it more of a Spiritual imagery?
A
Remember, Adam was a direct creation, but Jesus was born to a human mother and may have shared some of her physical traits. And since the Bible doesn’t go into this kind of detail, all we can do is speculate about it. I think it’s safe to assume that their spiritual imagery was similar, at least before the Fall.
